Installing StarForge
This guide covers installing the StarForge client and editor on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Download
Visit the Downloads page to get the latest version for your platform.
Windows Installation
- Run the downloaded
.exeinstaller - Follow the installation wizard
- Choose your installation directory (default is recommended)
- Launch StarForge from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut
macOS Installation
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile - Drag StarForge to your Applications folder
- If prompted about an unidentified developer, right-click and select "Open"
- Launch from Applications or Spotlight
Linux Installation
- Extract the downloaded
.tar.gzarchive - Run
./install.shfrom the terminal - The application will be available in your applications menu
